Political correctness is a term describing language, policies, or measures that are intended to avoid offense or disadvantage to members of particular groups in society.

We analyzed three different data sources to examine how frequent politically incorrect words have been used in the history and how the trend has changed across history. In particular, our interest is to compare the trend in news articles (The New York Times) and academic papers (CHI and ASSETS).
